OUR STORY
March 2021
THE FIRST DAY
In the fall of 2021, with the impact of covid-19 still very present in institutions, an online zoom meeting that was the first day of a hybrid Tertiary education (except for Mylz - he had already completed his HC the year before) for a group of unusual guys. Little did they know that their friendship would snowball into a series of projects, adventures, memories that would change the way people worldwide consumed African media forever.
An enthusiastic bunch of 20-somethings filled the virtual space with introductions, jokes, and quiet suspicion of what everyone looked like behind the blocked cameras. Our usual suspects, unknowingly already in sync, listened attentively, not to the lecturer, but to the voices of their peers, trying to identify who the prettiest girl in class was - an old high school tradition, maybe even further back.

THE CANON EVENT
Iggy lies awake on his single bed looking out of the window of his tiny, but creatively stimulating res room. Just like all his friends, he felt like school was limiting his creativity. The curriculum felt slow and limiting . He had to do something about it. He wanted MORE. "If I'm gonna become the greatest filmmaker of my generation, I have to take what they teach me and put it to practice in the real world and accelerate this learning"
